Jaipur, January 22: Mercury rose by a few notches in Rajasthan today, giving some respite to people from chilly weather particularly during night, as Sriganganagar on plains recorded the lowest temperature of 4.4 deg C last night.
With the passing of a western disturbance, the mercury rose by two to four degrees overnight at most places in the state, a Met report said.
The sole hill resort Mount Abu settled at a low of 3.4 deg C, giving breather to tourists flocking for boat ride in Nakki Lake.
Meanwhile, Pilani and Churu recorded a minimum of 5.4 deg C each, followed by Bundi 5.8, Bharatpur 6.9, Jaisalmer 8, Chittorgarh 8.2, Sawaimadhopur and Udaipur 9, Jodhpur 10, and Jaipur 11.5 degree Celsius.
