Mercury rises after cold morning

New Delhi: The maximum temperature in the national capital scaled up after a cold start to the day today, before settling at 29.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal.

“The maximum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal, while the minimum settled at 10.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal,” a MeT official said.

The day also witnessed slight fog in the morning after which Delhi’its witnessed a clear sky.

Humidity levels oscillated between 95 and 41 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted a clear day tomorrow with maximum temperature expected to hover around 29 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is likely to remain at around 10 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature yesterday settled at 10.1 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius.
