Hyderabad: Maximum temperatures saw a marked fall at different places in Telangana with some of them receiving rainfall, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said here today.
“Marked fall in maximum temperatures (was witnessed) at a few places over Telangana. They were markedly below normal at one or two places over Telangana. The highest maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius was recorded at Hanmakonda (in Warangal district),” the IMD said in its weather report.
Gandhari in Nizamabad district received 9 cms of rainfall, followed by Aswaraopeta in Khammam district which received seven cms.
Several other places in the state also received rains.
