Faridabad, June 13: Two girls on a scooter were seriously injured after a speeding Mercedes ran them over in Faridabad on Sunday. The victims Sanjana and Sahibaon were on their way home, when the accident occurred.
Police say the accused tried to flee the scene but the car’s tyre burst forcing them to abandon the vehicle and escape.
Locals took the victims to a nearby hospital. Investigations are on to find out who owned the car and who was driving the car when the incident happened, but no case has been filed as yet.
