S R Nagar police arrested a mentally ill man who attacked a girl with a knife. According to police 30-year-old mentally ill man sneaked in a private women hostel and attacked a 21-year old girl Mumta with a knife. The man has been identified as Chaitanya alias Kiran. Mamta an architect by occupation started screaming as a result the girls in the hostel gathered there and called police. Police SR Nagar took the man into custody and shifted him to police Station and recovered knife from his possession. During interrogation the man told that he had reached hostel to meet his niece.
