Begusarai, April 18:A mentally deranged person was lynched after battering to death his cousin at Jinedpur village in Bihar’s Begusarai district today.
Raju Sada, a mentally challenged man, battered his cousin Amarjit Sada to death with bricks prompting villagers to overpower him and beat up severely, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Vivekanand said.
Raju was taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries, the DSP said.
The bodies of the cousin duo have been sent for post-mortem.
