A 13-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Ghunghter area of the district, police said today.
The accused, Vijay Yadav, allegedly raped the girl yesterday after luring her to a secluded place in the village, they said.
On complaint of the victim’s mother, police registered a case and began an investigation.
“No arrests have been made so far in this connection,” an officer said.
