New Delhi, January 24: A 23-year-old mentally challenged girl was raped allegedly by her neighbour in East Delhi, police said today.
Rajesh Verma (34) lured the girl into his home in Krishna Nagar and allegedly raped her yesterday, they said.
He threatened her not to divulge the incident to anybody.
The incident came to light today when the victim narrated the incident to her parents who informed police.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where a medical examination on her confirmed a rape.
A case was registered and Verma was arrested.
