Lucknow, April18:An active member of a gang of auto-lifters was arrested by the police from Gautam Buddha Nagar and 13 stolen cars and a motorcylce were recovered from him, police said here today.
Ummed Khan of Bulandshahar was arrested from sector 20 of GB Nagar late yesterday night, they said adding that on the basis of information provided by him 13 stolen cars and a motorcycle were reovered by the police.
Khan was wanted in auto-theft cases in Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida, they said adding that he was an active member of the auto-lifing gang.
