London, Sept. 5 : Melissa Rivers paid a touching tribute for her mother Joan Rivers on her first death anniversary.
Melissa shared her feelings via twitter, saying “Today marks one year since my mother passed. This was the year of firsts: first holidays, first birthdays, first everythings without mom, without grandma,” the Mirror reported.
She said that has been amazed by the outpouring of love and overwhelming kindness they have received from family, friends, and people whose lives were touched by her mother.
Earlier, the 47-year-old, along with her son, went on their annual family vacation to Wyoming and sprinkled some of her mother’s remains.
Joan River died a week after undergoing a minor throat procedure on her vocal chords after suffering from cardiac arrest during the surgery, Melissa then filed a malpractice suit against Yorkville Endoscopy, where her mom’s complication occurred. (ANI)
