London: Singer Mel C says her former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham was the ‘least true’ like her nickname – Posh.
The pop girl group, originally consisted of Melanie Brown (Mel B, ‘Scary Spice’), Melanie Chisholm (Mel C ‘Sporty Spice’), Emma Bunton (‘Baby Spice’), Geri Halliwell (‘Ginger Spice’) and Victoria Beckham (‘Posh Spice’) landed their nicknames in a 1996 Top of the Pops magazine story.
Speaking about the nicknames Mel C, 43, says Mel B’s is the most accurate while Victoria’s rings the ‘least true’, reported Mirror.
She says Mel B’s ‘Scary’ handle is so apt because she “really is petrifying.”
In 2016, Mel B, Bunton and Halliwell reunited and launched a new website called “Spice Girls – GEM”.
