YSR Congress Party candidate of Nellore Lok Sabha constituency Mekapati Raja Mohan Reddy has staged a dharna here, protesting against the alleged police harassment of his party candidates.
He told the media that when the Congress workers had attacked his party men, instead of taking action on them, the police started harassing the YSR Congress workers. He said police were acting as the agents of the ruling party. He has staged dharna at the police station along with the party workers. (NSS)
