Mahfil-e-Nisa Trust, a movement under the theme ‘learn Urdu and teach Urdu’, celebrated second annual programme here at on August 26.
Minister for Information Minister for Information, Infrastructure and Haj, Mr. R. Roshan Baig was the chief guest. He praised activities of the organization and urged them to join with Anganwadi and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) to improve the infrastructure of the school.
On the occasion, Mr. Maqbool Ahmed, president, Central Muslim Association, released the annual magazine titled ‘Meraas’ (a heritage of literature and culture).
Mr. Azeezulla Baig, Retd IAS officer; Dr. Zubair Sadath, resource person at Central Institute of Indian Languages; Ms. Shaista Yousuf, president Mehfil-e-Nisa, Dr. Haleema Firdous, vice-president, Mehfil-e-Nisa and secretary Dr. Noor Zamani Begum, were also present.
