Governor ESL Narasimhan today greeted people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of New Year 2015.
According to a press release from Raj Bhavan, the Governor would first attend Republic Day program at Vijayawada and later at Hyderabad. He said he would frequently hold a meeting with Chief Ministers of the two States and a meeting will soon be called to sort out the related issues.
Referring to Eamcet row, the Governor said he made two suggestions and the governments are yet to respond officially. “I hope they will come up with a solution”, he said. Narasimhan also has given pat to the chief ministers saying that they are sincerely working with a vision for development and welfare of the people. He exuded confidence that they will initiate steps to distribute fruits of development to the poor and deprived classes. He said he had recommended to Central Election Commission and its state unit to consider the plea of MLAs of Polavaram submergence area to allow them to attend the Assembly sessions of Andhra Pradesh.
