Despite getting permission from Wakf Board, the management of Madina Education Center created hurdles for conducting a meeting. They locked the premises and disconnected electricity.
The meeting was organized by Sufi Academy and parents association of Madina Public School. Maulana Syed Tariq Quadri presided over the meeting. Mr. Mohammed Ali Rafath, IAS, Mr. M.A. Majeed Khan, Psychiatrist, Maulana Syed Hamid Husain Shuttari, Secretary of the Association. Mr. Mohammed Mushtaq Malik, Mr. Khalid Rasool Khan, Mr. Nayeemullah Shareef, Mr. M.A. Basith, Mr. Raheemullah Khan Niyazi, Mr. M. Khundmari, Mr. Mohammed Haneef Ali (BJP) attended the meeting.
Maulana Tareeq Quadri told that Islam preaches to raise voice against injustice and cruelty. Mr. Rafath told that wakf properties are being misuse. Mr. Shuttari told that Madina Education Center is a wakf property which is being misused. Mr. Mushtaq Malik told that the Muslim to realize their responsibility of protecting Wakf properties. Mr. Haneef Ali advised the Muslims to play a active role to protect wakf properties.
