Addressing the meeting of Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust and Foundation for Economic and Educational Development (FEED), Mr. Mohammed Abdur Raheem Quraishi, President of Tameer-e-Millath told that by paying Zakat to the poor Muslims, the pleasure of Allah (SWT) could be obtained. Present on this occasion were: Prof. Ahmedullah Khan, Mr. Musheraf Farooqui (IAS, selected) Mr. Mohammed Ali Rafath, IAS, Member of Public Service Commission, Prof. Kancha Iliah, Mr. Ahsan Abid, IAS, Mr. Inamur Rahman Ghayur and others.
Continuing his address, Mr. Qureshi told that the works voluntary organizations are doing for the upliftment of Muslims is laudable. Those who pay Zakat during the month of Ramazan will get virtues fortified.
Mr. Ghiyasuddin Babu Khan, Chairman of the Trust told that his organization provides financial assistance to students, widows and orphan children. A campaign has been launched for the remarriage of widows. He thanked the donors. He told that the activities of the trust have been put on website for the period from 1993 to 2014. Mr. Khaleel Ahmed presented the report of Hyderabad Institute of Excellence. Mr. Ziauddin Nayyar conducted the meeting.
