(Siasat News) After targeting by various sections of the society for making arrangements for the Haj pilgrimage 2013 Govt. has convened a meeting of the concerned departments on 10th September to consider the arrangements to be made for Haj pilgrimage this year. It is expected that Minister of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Ahmadullah and Secretary of the Dept. of Minorities Welfare Mr. Ahmed Nadeem will attend the meeting.
It may be noted that Haj pilgrims would start reporting to Haj House from 23rd September onwards. The first contingent of Haj pilgrims will start from Hyderabad on 25th September. It is expected that nearly 8000 Haj pilgrims from this state will perform Haj. The last group will leave Hyderabad on 9th October.
It is expected that the officials of police, Saudi Airlines, Customs, Airport Authorities, Dept. of Minorities Welfare and Haj Committee would attend this meeting. Executive Officer of Haj Committee, Mr. M.A. Hameed is supervising the arrangements of the Haj pilgrims. It is to be noted that the tenure of Haj committee came to an end on 15th August. The Govt. has not yet constituted the new Haj Committee. It has also not appointed any adhoc committee. The three member committee appointed by the Govt. has finalized tenders for various works.
