Meet these siblings, GES delegates who have Hyderabad connection

Hyderabad: Mansoor Q. Syed, his sister, Umamah Syeda and their brother Haider Syed who was part of US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) have connections with Hyderabad.

According to the news published in Telangana Today, these entrepreneurs who are born and brought up in US have deep-rooted connections with Hyderabad.

During Nizam’s rule, trio’s grandfather, Syed Moosa Quadri was the government contractor. He was involved in the construction of various structures in the city including Salar Jung Bridge, the Quli Qutb Shah Stadium, City College etc.

Syed Farid Pasha Qadri, their grandmother’s brother was a personal teacher for the Nizam.

It may be mentioned that they were selected by US State Department after they had won awards for their startups.

Talking about Hyderabad, Umamah said that the city has changed. She calls Hyderabad “New Hyderabad” and compared it with “New York”.

Due to lack of time, they could not meet with cousins and friends here. However, they want to see city after GES.

As Mr. Haider’s startup, Faloos, a money transaction mobile app is for India and Middle East Countries, he is sure that he will keep visiting Hyderabad.
