It is an established fact and dream that every Muslim wants to perform Hajj at least once in his life time.
You can make your dreams come true if you put in the effort and make a sensible plan like Jahangir Khan Abbasi, a 62 years old rickshaw puller from Agra, who proved it that not only people from well-to-do families who can think of doing Haj but people with firm determination and hard work can also aspire to visit Islam’s holiest cities and perform Haj.
Well, Khan worked really hard in his whole life to accomplish his lifetime dream of performing Haj and visiting holy places.
Being a rickshaw puller, kept saving money and later on he purchased few rickshaws and gave them on lease. After discharging his social responsibility, the previous year he applied for Haj but his application was not accepted.
Hopefully this year he and his wife Zeenat Begum are prepared and all set to start their journey to Saudi Arabia on 22nd August to perform Haj.
The story of Jahangir Khan Abbasi reminds us that “No dreamer is ever too small; no dream is ever too big. You should keep your dreams alive. Hard work, determination, dedication, patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.
Remember all things are possible for those who believe.
