Washington DC, August 15 : Even kitties are giving a tough competition to humans to earn Guinness World Record as recently a 26-year-old kitty, Corduroy broke the Guinness World Record for being oldest living cat in the world.
Corduroy, who grabbed this title consecutively for second time, earlier had his title stripped away from him when Tiffany Two owner had submitted late in the game application, however, Tiffany passed away, putting Corduroy back on top, E! Online reported.
Corduroy’s proud owner Ashley Reed Okura said that she was happy to hear that his cat has grabbed his rightful title, adding that she bought a mouse for Corduroy to celebrate and it was wonderful to share the world with him.
Born on August 1 1989, Corduroy and his owner Ashley Reed Okura have been companions since he was a tiny kitten and she was just seven years old. (ANI)
