Hyderabad: IPS Probationer, Ms. Richa Tomar, daughter of a farmer, Rajendra Pal Singh fought against all odds to achieve her goal.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, two years ago, she faced a difficult time as she had to choose between two difficult choices, take care of her one-year-old son and forget about her dream to become IPS Officer or attend IPS probationary training at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad.
She decided to join the training after her family and in-laws gave assurance that they will take care of her son.
Tomorrow, she will march at the Dikshant Parade which is scheduled to be held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy. She is one of the toppers of 70 IPS Probationer batch.
Ms. Richa who hails from Hasanpur Jiwani village in Baghpath District completed her education from government institutions.
The IPS Probationer said that as she was away from her home, her son used to face difficulty in recognizing her voice on phone.
It may be mentioned that she is allotted the Rajasthan Cadre. Her husband, Mr. Rajnesh is an ACP in New Delhi.
