Meet the endurance athlete with `212 world records`

Paddy Doyle, endurance athlete, has managed to earn 212 world records, mostly for running cross-country with weights on his back. The 49-year-old ex-paratrooper has bagged over 31 world records this year, and from the total 212 records, many of them were recognized by half a dozen global bodies, including 63 Guinness World Records, the Daily Star reported. Doyle said that he can’t be built like a fridge and so he has to keep his weight down because he competes in endurance challenges, where one has to have discipline. The athlete keeps himself fit by working out “five to six times a week” with light weights, hill training and long cross-country walks. (ANI)
