Terming her party’s win in the Lok Sabha elections as ‘historic’, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from New Delhi constituency Meenakshi Lekhi dedicated her win to the nation and vowed to refrain from committing mistakes. “This is a historic win of the BJP. The people of the country took this decision because they were upset and unhappy with the Congress,” said Lekhi. “We will change this country. Without Narendra Modi, BJP’s win was not possible. We will take the country towards development,” she added. “I dedicate my win to the nation. I will make sure I do not make any mistakes,” she said. Lekhi defeated Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Ashish Khetan and Congress’s Ajay Maken. (ANI)
