New Delhi: Two medium intensity earthquakes measuring 4.5 and 3 on the Richter Scale today hit Jammu and Kashmir and Gujarat, respectively.
A quake hit border region of Jammu and Kashmir at 4:21 PM, while another hit the Kutch region of Gujarat at 4:27 AM, according to the National Centre for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences.
There were no immediate reports of damage of property or loss of life.
