Hyderabad: A team of Medical Council of India lead by Dr. Krishna Rao inspected Osmania hospital to take stock of the Department of Orthopedics. It is reported that there are 150 beds in this department but there are only 7 seats in PG courses.
Dr. G.V.S.Murthy, Superintendent of Osmania General Hospital had written to Medical Council of India through the Director of Medical Education, Govt. of Telangana for the enhancement of 5 seats in PG Course.
The team met the Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Satyanarayana, in charge of Orthopedic Department and Dr. Rafi, RMO of Osmania Hospital. The team also inspected the functioning of outpatient department, X-ray, MOT, SITU and other departments.
