There is ample number of opportunities in media for youth, especially for the Muslim boys and girls. While they can make it a profession, they can also and alleviate misconceptions about Islam by counterpunching anti-Islam propaganda at the same time. These views were expressed by Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan during his meeting with the students of Diploma in Journalism and Communication Course of Maulana Azad National Urdu University run by Siasat Daily. He urged the students to get command over other languages like English, Telugu and Hindi along with Urdu as this profession requires multi-lingual expertise.
The students also met Managing editor Siasat Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan who advised them to also focus on social or digital media apart from print and electronic media.
News editor Mr. Amer Ali Khan also urged the students to boost up creative abilities. ‘Your work will be appreciated only when it is distinguishing’ he said.
Course coordinator Mohammed Riyaz Ahmed and Station Manager Deccan Radio guided the students to various departments of the media house.
