On Saturday Medchal police Inspecstor received reliable information that the TDP leaders Ch. Dharma Reddy, MLA Parkal and L. Vijayavardhan Reddy of Gajwel are camping in Honey burg Resort at Yadaram village with huge cash to bribe the voters of Gajwel Assembly Constituency for tomorrow Election for Medak parliament in favor of their supporting BJP candidate Jagga Reddy.
On that the Medchal Inspector, M. Prabhakar Reddy along with staff conducted raid on Honey burg Resort and seized 24,10,000 cash, some printed model ballet papers in favor of Jagga Reddy and BJP, TDP scarf’s from the Innova No.AP23.N.6699. The police also seized voter lists of Gajwel constituency from the room No.101 of the resort in which MLA, Parkal Ch.Dharma Reddy is camping.
The accused driver by name Sama Naresh Reddy (22) an Driver, Resident of Road No.5 Sainagar Colony of Nagole, Hyderabad was arrested in the resort, confessed that they are camping in the above resort since two days and today L. Vijayavardhan Reddy brought the money in his Innova and discussing with Ch. Dharma Reddy, MLA of TDP Party for distribution of amount to the voters in Gajwel Constituency for casting their votes in favor of their allies BJP Party candidate Jagga Reddy. This is gross violation of Election code of conduct.
Medchal police registered a case in Crime No 352/2014 and investigated in to.
The arrested accused will be produced in the court along with seized cash and other material. Search parties were pressed in to service to apprehend the remaining accused. (INN)
