Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy today said Collectorate building at Medchal district will be completed by Dasara festival. Accompanied by a team of officials, the minister inspected the project site.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said an amount of Rs 52.50 crore was being spent for the Collectorate building with modern facilities. He asked the officials to speed up the works with quality. He also said the completion of the works will help boost hassle-free services to the people. For smooth and expeditious governance, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has launched the new districts, he remarked. KCR will launch the buildings and the officials were asked to coordinate on the project, the minister said. So far 65 per cent of the works were completed and in a few months the rest of the work will be over, he added. (NSS)
