Hyderabad: A victim approached “SHE Teams” with a complaint that her daughter was being sent messages by one of her friends for the past one month. He has been sending messages from different phone numbers.
The complainant stated that the girl had an affair with him and that he has her private pictures. He was defaming her character and disturbing the petitioner’s family life who got recently married. Based on the petition filed by the victim, the SHE teams received credible information that the respondent was moving at BJR Statue near L B Stadium. The She Team apprehended the culprit and brought him to the She Team office. On interrogation, the accused disclosed his identity as Erra Venkateswarlu alias Kaushik, son of Erra Swamy, 27, residing at Misaipet in Medak District.
The accused admitted his guilt. He was produced before the Asst. Commissioner of Police and a case was registered in CCS, Detective Department U/s.70 (C) of C.P Act and handed over the accused Erra Venkateshwarlu for further action. (NSS)
