Theni(TN), March 17: Nine MDMK men were today arrested for allegedly burning an effigy of AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa here, police said.
The MDMK workers were protesting against their party for not being allotted seats demanded by their leader Vaiko, they said.
AIADMK had virtually shut the door on MDMK with a meagre offer of eight seats against a minimum of 21 demanded by Vaiko.
