Welcoming the announcement of Shaadi Mubarak scheme for poor Muslims by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, President Minorities Development Forum Mr. Abid Siddiqui demanded that the government immediately issue guidelines regarding the scheme. In a statement he said there was need to simplify the procedure for effective implementation of the scheme, so that maximum number of poor families could avail the scheme.
He maintained that generally it was witnessed that the concerned officials were not serious in implementing the scheme as a result the success of the scheme seemed impossible. Cooperation from recognized and reliable could be sought in this connection. The scheme needs to be properly publicized as it is the foremost duty of the government to make poor families aware of the scheme. He hoped that the sincere efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali could make the scheme more fruitful.
