Minorities Development Forum received 148 applications from the Imams and muezzins of the city in connection with the invitation of applications by State Minority Commission to fix monthly salary to Imams and Muezzins. The list of applications has been sent to State Minority Commission.
In this connection a delegation of MDF comprising of Khaja Moinuddin general secretary and Zia-ur-Rasheed personally met Chairman Minority Commission Abid Rasool Khan and handed over the applications. Abid Rasool Khan hailed MDF’s efforts and hoped that MDF will continue its cooperation in future also with regard to various schemes of the government.
