GHMC has started a round the clock call center bearing number 156304 for the eradication public grievances.
Mr. Mohammed Majid Hussain, Mayor and Mr. M.T Krishna Babu Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation announced it yesterday in a Press Conference.
Any citizen can contact this telephone number for the redressal of any of his civic problem.
Mayor of GHMC told that instead of enhancing property tax, an attempt has been made for making correct assessment of the properties so that income of GHMC could be increased. He said that last year, an attempt was made to pool up resources but a major portion of it was spent on repayment of loans.
He said that today, GHMC is in a position to spend money on development.
He told that foundation stone would be laid in January for ToliChowki Flyover. It is estimated at Rs 26 crore. Rs 12 crore have been earmarked for the acquistion of properties.
