MBT warns to gherao parliament on interference in Shariah

Hyderabad: Government is trying to change the Ambedkar’s constitution into constitution based on Savarkar’s ideology. There is provision for amendment in the constitution but no power of the country can interfere into the basic rights of the citizens. Islam has taught to look at woman with respect. Islamic laws only have given equal rights and respect to women in the society. Prime Minister’s own wife Jashodhaben has become victim of oppression and suffering. Who will provide justice to her? Speakers expressed these views while addressing a meeting organised by Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) on Tahaffuz-e-Shariat.

Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman (Delhi), Mr. Majeedullah Khan President MBT, Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khaled MBT spokesman and others spoke during the meeting. They warned that if the government tries to interfere in the Shariah, 20 Cr Muslims will not hesitate to gherao the parliament.

Mr. Majeedullah Khan Farhat said the way of life given by the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammed (pbuh) has made the man a human. No one can tolerate amendment in these laws. He recalled that debate on section 44 of the Indian constitution was stopped then and there by Dr. B R Ambedkar saying that implementation of Uniform Civil Code is not possible in a country having diverse culture.

Mr. Farhat asked the Prime Minister to first put his own house in order and provide justice to his own wife before showing concern for Muslim women.
