MBT to observe ‘Black Day’ and Bandh on Dec 6

Hyderabad, Nov 30 (INN): The Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) has called for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh bandh on 6th December on the 22nd anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.

MBT President Dr Khayam Khan has requested the Muslims and all secular people to observe ‘Black Day’ and Bandh on 6th December 2014. Addressing a meeting of MBT workers at Mehdi Function Hall beside Dabeerpura Bridge on Saturday evening, the MBT President said that the wounds of demolition of Babri Masjid are still fresh for all Muslims and secular people of India. He said that the MBT will not stop its movement until the reconstruction of Babri Masjid at the same place where it existed till December 6, 1992.

Explaining the chronology of Babri Masjid, Dr Khayam Khan said that the historic mosque was demolished by the RSS, BJP, VHP and other Hindu fundamentalist on the basis of fabricated claims. He expressed regret that those who committed this heinous crime are yet to be punished by law. Stating that Indian Muslims have full faith on the Constitution, he hoped that Babri Masjid will be re-constructed at its original place and it would serve as the symbol of unity and communal harmony in the country.

The MBT President also announced that a protest meeting will be held on 3rd December at Azam function Hall in Moghalpura.

Addressing the meeting, MBT leader Majeed Ullah Khan @ Farhat Khan accused the AIMIM of diluting the Babri Masjid movement by entering into secret understanding with the communal forces like RSS and BJP. He alleged that MIM-backed forces have been trying to threaten him of dire consequences. He said he did not bow down before the communal forces when he was implicated in a fake case under TADA and was imprisoned for six months post demolition of Babri Masjid. Therefore, he said there was no question of him surrendering to the wishes of communal and anti-democracy forces.

Speaking about last Elections, Farhat Khan said that the last Assembly Elections were not fought between MIM and MBT, but it was between him and the communal and corrupt police officials who did not want the history of late Md Aman Ullah Khan founder MBT to repeat in the Telangana Assembly. He said that the MIM won elections with the support of nearly 40 per cent bogus voters in Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency. Number of complaints made by MBT to the Election Commission of India and Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh fell on deaf ears.

Farhat Khan said till today no IPS Officer is able to answer why he was arrested on the poling day. He said never in the history of Indian Elections a contesting candidate was arrested. There was no law and order on the polling day and no required police force in the sensitive polling booths. Many senior IPS officers were rewarded by the Telangana Govt on recommendation of MIM with plump postings for their help provided during Elections.

He also slammed some Print and Electronic Media for giving fake publicity to the Owaisi Brothers. He alleged that some channels were acting at the behest of RSS and BJP and giving fake publicity to MIM to split up secular votes. He said the recent example of MIM contesting in Maharashtra resulted in the decrease of Muslim MLAs in Maharashtra Assembly and alleged that MIM wants to repeat it in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh also.

Amjed Ullah Khan (Corporator), Altaf Naseeb Khan, Syed Naseer, Alhaj Syed Taher and other leaders also addressed the meeting.(INN)
