MBT leaders protest against verdict, arrested

Hyderabad, October 02: A protest was staged yesterday against Allahbad High court verdict on Babri Masjid title case by Masjid Bachao Tehreek subsequently heavy police force came into action to restrain protest.

Police arrested leaders of MBT Dr. Qayam Khan convenor, Amjad ullah Khan Khalid corporater and other activists and sent them to various police stations. During the arrest MBT office had been cordoned off and the whole area had become police cantonment.

As per the details MBT corporator Azam pura division, Amjad ullah Khan Khalid all of a sudden reached Azam pura chaman with his associates and blaming that they failed in effective representation in court, burned effigies of Mr. Zafaryab Jeelani advocate Sunni Central Waqf board and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi. Amjad Ullah Khan and his friends held various placards in their hands, slogans written on them.

Police came into action as the information was received and several officials and inspectors reached the spot. However Amjad Ullah Khan had gone away from there till then. City police formed several task force teams to arrest Azam Pura corporator.
