Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) Chief Amjed Ullah Khan has criticized the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for allowing screening of Kamal Hasan-starrer ‘Vishwaroopam’ film in the State.
Talking to the media at the NSS news center here on Thursday he said Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha, had not allowed screening of the film in that state, despite being a firm believer of Hinduism. He alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy had no minimum knowledge like his counter part Jayalalitha.
Amjed said that 21st Jalse Milad Un Nabi celebrations will be held to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed on February 2 at Moghalpura Play Grounds, at 8 PM.
He said MBT has been organizing these celebrations since its inception by late Md. Aman Ullah Khan, to promote unity among various sects of Muslim community and also to spread the message of love, peace, unity and fraternity among all Indians belonging to different religions as these were the basic essence of Islam.
Amjed said that more than one lakh Muslims belonging to various districts of Andhra Pradesh and other states of India would attend this meeting. He said all necessary arrangements have been made for making this meeting a grand success.
He said that Adam Mallik (Adv) president MBT will preside over the meeting. A reception committee was set up with Hazrath Alhaj Syed Sha Durvesh Mohiuddin Quadri as the president.
He said that Hazrath Maulana Idrees Bastavi (Mubarak, UP), Hazrath Maulana Abdul Hameed Jamai (Kolkata, West Bengal), Hazrath Qari Aman Ullah Balyavi (Kolkatta, West Bengal), Dr Khayam Khan (Convener of MBT), Alhaj Molana Hasseb Ul Hassan Siddiqui (general secretary, Sunni Ulema Board, Andhra Pradesh), Dr Sadeq Naqvi (historian), Hazrath Peer O Murshid Syed Baqtiyar Alam (Fazil Jame Nizamia and Qateeb Jame Masjid Mehdavi, Musheerabad) and Majeed Ullah Khan (Spokesman MBT) will deliver speeches on the occasion.
Noted poets Qari Waris Warsi (Meerut, UP), Qari Tabish Rehan (Azamgadh, UP), Dr Farooq Shakeel (AP), Syed Ali Adil Tashreef Ullahi (AP), Arif Hussain Razvi (AP), Hefeez Nawarul Rehman (AP), Mohammed Mehraj Ahmed (AP), Qari Md Nseeruddin (AP) and Hafez Syed Meera Shahiban Kundmiri (AP) will participate in the celebrations, Amjed added.
