Corporator of Azampura from MBT Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khalid recorded his complaint in the police station for misbehaving in the budget meeting. He was expelled from the General Body meeting of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad.
He lodged a complaint for not allowing him to express his views in the meeting. He was stopped from speaking in the meeting. Sometimes his microphone was shutdown. To lodge his protest he reached the podium of the Mayor to find out the reason for not allowing him to speak. The Mayor expelled him from the meeting hall with the help of Marshals. Municipal budget was approved amidst the protests of the opposition. Mr. Khalid wanted to raise his voice against the property tax hike and also about the development fund expenditure to be used for supply of furniture to Govt. schools.
