New Delhi, March 03: A final year MBBS student allegedly committed suicide in his hostel room in the AIIMS campus this evening, police said.
Bal Mukund Bharti, who hails from Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, was found hanging in room no 22 of hostel-II in the AIIMS campus by his friends at around 6 pm.
The reason for Bharti taking the extreme step was not immediately known as no suicide note was recovered from him, a senior police official said.
Police is talking to his friends and classmates to get some clues in the incident.
“We are investigating the matter,” the official said.
