GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain on Saturday instructed GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar to initiate action against the officers who have failed to redress the grievances at their level.
After receiving 39 grievances in the Face to Face Programme today, the Mayor has opined that a grievance like missing of man hole cover should not be redressed by the GHMC Commissioner himself and it is the duty of ground level functionary to see that the man hole covers are impact. He further directed the Zonal Commissioners / Deputy Commissioners to settle the grievances at their level itself and opined that if they are settled at their concerned level there is no need for public to go round the Head Office for getting their grievances redressed. He further directed the Commissioner to give specific instructions to all the concerned officials and spare no one from disciplinary action. (INN)
