Mayor urges citizens to help keep city on top in Swacch Sarvekshan

GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan today exhorted the citizens to extend cooperation to keep the Hyderabad city in top position in nationwide Swacch Sarvekshan.

Speaking to the media here on Friday at GHMC office, Rammohan said the City achieved 19th rank last year and urged the city people to make a call to the number 1969 to make the City’s position better. He said that the Hyderabad city was developing rapidly after the formation of Telangana state and the GHMC was striving to transform the city as a clean city. He said that the corporators and public representatives would take up padayatras in 150 wards from January 21 to February 4. He said he will visit all wards along with Deputy Mayor and officials to create awareness among the people on Swacch Sarvekshan program.

Reiterating his appeal to the people to make a call to 1969 to extend their support to the Swacch Sarvekshan, Rammohan informed that the GHMC will take up huge campaign with the eminent persons of cine, sports and corporate sectors along with wall writing at 200 places and huge hoardings at 200 places and campaign in radio and television channels.
