Hyderabad: GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan has directed the officials to coordinate with the Corporators while taking up various works pertaining to roads, greenery, drinking water, protection of lakes and 100% garbage collection from door to door. He said that the local Corporators should ensure the completion of all works in their areas within the stipulated time.
The Mayor, along with GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, Chief Engineer K. Suresh, Zonal Commissioner (East Zone) C.N. Raghu Prasad, Deputy Commissioner (Uppal) Vijay Krishna and other senior officials held a meeting with the Corporators of Uppal Circle to discuss various civic related issues pertaining to East Zone. The Mayor appealed the Corporators to involve Residential Welfare Associations while taking up the various civic works and also to join hands with the GHMC property tax collection staff for collection of property tax in their jurisdiction.
Rammohan appealed to the senior officials of the East Zone and the Corporators of Uppal Circle to prepare a Summer Action Plan by giving priority to drinking water facilities and providing of water tankers wherever necessary. (INN)
