Hyderabad, August 20: Hyderabad Mayor Banda Kartika Reddy on Thursday reviewed the permissions being given by Planning Wing of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for buildings under GO Ms No 86 and enquired about the buildings complying to the sanctioned plans.
Ms Kartika Reddy also enquired the town planning officials whether they invoked the claim of taking over mortgage portions in case of serious violations.
She directed the town planning officials to arrange a survey of all the building permissions granted and to verify whether they are as per the sanctioned plans and if not, action would be initiated to take over the mortgage areas.
The Mayor also reviewed with the SE Projects and Estate officer on Nalas and directed the officials that all the proposed murki nalas which are in progress/initial phase should be completed within six months without delay.
She further directed the town planning officials that removal of encroachments/widening of roads/demolitions should be completed as early as possible to start the nalas widening.
