Mayor Bontu Rammohan today exhorted citizens to cooperate with the GHMC to keep Hyderabad city not only clean but also make it green healthy city.
The Mayor went on padayatra in Musarambagh division and IS Sadan divisons as part of Swatch Sarvekshan in which local corporator Sunita Reddy and Zonal commissioner Srinivas Reddy and others participated. The mayor inspected various areas to know about sanitation work. He said the GHMC has taken up programs to keep the city garbage-free and samplings were planted on a large scale during Haritharam program. In the recently held Haritharam program, 81 lakh samplings were planned beyond target. “This year, we have a target of planting 50 lakh samplings”, the mayor said. He called upon people to plant more trees in their respective areas to make the city green and clean. (NSS)
