The Gujarat High Court on Tuesday granted bail to former minister Maya Kodnani in 2002 Naroda Patiya massacre case.
The former minister has been granted three-month conditional bail on medical grounds.
Kodnani had moved the Gujarat HC for six months’ bail on October 27 as she was diagnosed as suffering from intestinal tuberculosis, heart ailment and severe depression.
The 58-year-old gynecologist was jailed for 28 years by a special court in August 2012 for involvement in the Naroda Patia massacre of 2002.
