Ahmedabad: Chhotubhai Vasava, former JDU MLA from Gujarat, has alleged that BJP Chief Amit Shah and Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani might get him killed with the help of selective police officers in an encounter.
Vasava is now contesting the Gujarat Assembly election on a Congress ticket. He is currently aligned with JDU’s breakaway faction led by Sharad Yadav.
Vasava said that “Shah had my house raided. I’m afraid he may even get me killed.”
He further added that, since he had voted for Ahmed Patel in Rajya Sabha elections, Shah wants to take revenge on him because Ahmed Patel winning the election was seen as a humiliating and personal defeat of Amit Shah.
Chhotubhai Vasava shared a video on facebook in which he expressed fear for his life.
Vasava had formed Bharatiya Tribal Party after breaking away from JDU. He is supported by Congress now.
