May 30 is last date for registration of colleges, students

The Telangana State government has issued orders for registration of colleges and students in e-pass system to enable process the data colleges and students for sanction of scholarships for the academic year 2014-15 to apply online on the e-pass website.

In a pressnote here, J. Reymond Peter, Principal Secretary, SC Development Department (Edn), has stated as on May 18, some 5841 colleges were registered out of total 6679 colleges. The deadline for college registration is May 30 and no further extension will be given. “It must be noted that if colleges are not registered on the e-pass website, then no student in the college can apply for scholarships. This is the last chance for all colleges to register online. As a measure of transparency, status of college Registration and Renewal Registration status can be viewed by the general public at http://epasswebsite.cgg.gov.in, the pressnote added.

As on May 18, 6,06,322 students have renewed their scholarships for 2014-15 out of 827775 eligible students. All students, who are renewing their scholarships must visit the e-pass website at http://epasswebsite.cgg.gov.in and upload their details. All students are advised to immediately register for renewal of scholarships. All the regulatory authorities and colleges managements must ensure that all residual colleges and students, who wish to register in e-pass will upload their date by May 30 for sanction of scholarships for the academic year 2014-15.
