The maximum number of voters, who will cast their vote first time in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Haryana, fall in Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency, an Election Commission official said here.
As many as 3,49,452 voters in the age group of 18 and 19 years, including 98,756 women and 2,50,696 men, will cast their vote for the first time in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections in the state, he said.
The maximum number of such first-time 47,161 voters fall in Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency, he said.
The maximum number of 14,144 women in the 18-19 age group, also fall in Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency even as the maximum number of 33,017 first-time men voters too come from the same constituency.
On the other hand, the minimum number of 27,213 voters in the age group of 18 and 19 fall in Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency.
These include 7,221 women and 19,992 men.
In all, more than 1.55 crore voters would cast their vote in Haryana in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, including 71,52,207 women and 84,42,220 men, he said.
As many as 3,70,235 voters above the age of 80 years would cast their vote in the state, the official said.
The maximum number of 41,571 voters in this age group is in Sirsa out of which men number 25,097.
The least number of 26, 207 voters, above 80 years of age, fall in Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency.
These include 12,465 women and 13,742 men.
There are 35,84,090 voters in the state in the age group of 20-29, including 14,88,926 women and 20,95,164 men.
Similarly, there are 37,76,969 voters in the age group of 30 and 39, including 17,35,026 women and 20,42,943 men.
The spokesman said that there are 33,39,362 voters in the age group of 40 and 49 years, including 15,73,444 women and 17,65,918 men.
Also, in age group of 50 and 59 years, there are 22,54,273 voters, including 10,90,607 women and 11,63,666 men.
The total number of voters in the age group of 60 and 69 years are 12,99,232, including 6,39,954 women and 6,59,278 men.
As many as 6,20,814 voters are in age group of 70 and 80, including 3,16,836 women and 3,03,978 men, the official said.
