Maulana Shamsuddin Quadri Al-Jeelani who was the founder of Masjid and Madrasa Shamsia of Salala Barkas passed away in Medina yesterday.
After performing Umrah, he had gone to Medina. He was admitted in hospital where he breathed last. He is the descendant of Hazrath Syed Shah Ishaque Nooruddin Quadri of Kurnool whose genecology goes back to Hazrath Shaik Abdul Quadir Jeelani of Baghdad.
He was good Qari and recited Quran from All India Radio, Hyderabad. He expanded the circle of the disciples of Quaderia order. He was vice president of Jameeatul Mashaique. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
