New Delhi: The Board meeting of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind was held in New Delhi at Madani Hall of the head office. The meeting was presided over by President Maulana Qari Syed Mohammed Osman Mansoorpuri. During the proceedings, the resignation of Maulana Mahmood Madani was also discussed. However, the resignation was unanimously rejected.
National General Secretary Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Maulana Syed Mahmood Madani will remain on his post and will continue to serve Jamiat.
Maulana Mahmood Madani had resigned from his post last month on reasons unknown, following which disquiet prevailed among the community.
